BACKGROUND: Katherine doesn't remember much--if anything--about her life at the Russian facility that created her. Her oldest memory is of living a normal life like any London child would after being taken in by her adoptive parents.

Clinically insane after being left out in the middle of a tornado at the age of three, Katherine is as stable as mother nature herself. She is the girl Jesse mentioned when Sadie asked who had raped him his first time, and has been guilty of other crimes against people in the past that are just as fun.

Katherine has no problem with using her abilities in public, and is responsible for a devastating hurricane that hit Scotland in 2010, while she was vacationing there. She is known to constantly mess with the weather regardless of the consequences. She was found a few years ago by Caine and Jay, and invited to join Quinique under the alias of 'Tempest,' a nickname given to her back in grade school.

Through Quinique Katherine has found a dysfunctional family that works with her mental instability, and an outlet for her constant raving madness. She is the third member, and bears the tattoo of the Roman numeral 3 on the small of her back to prove it.

Caine is the leader, and she obeys him without question and without hesitance. Through the years their relationship has been dynamic, constantly changing to please Caine, and Katherine is blissfully willing to continue things that way.

Her relationship with Jay is quiet, more subtle. She sees him as a friend, but nothing more, and nothing near an authority figure. He is another toy to play with along the way.

She is currently keeping Chuck Pryce as her pet, and lovingly refers to him as 'Puppy.'
